I’m sure you have seen those Pinterest photos of of spice bottles perfectly lined up and labeled with stickers, and fridges organized into neat little plastic containers. These look beautiful, but let's be real, knowing myself that’s not realistic or an achievable practice for the way my partner and I use the kitchen. So, I'm sharing some tips in this blog post on how I managed to organize my kitchen in a way that's practical and doable for us.

Taking on a kitchen reno is honestly really scary and daunting (this doesn’t go away once you start, it’s over and I still feel stressed about every decision). Not only is it inevitably going to be expensive and routine disturbing - but there are also a million things to consider in the design process! In this blog post, I walk you though my kitchen makeover, product info, and the decisions I made in the hopes it might make your reno, future reno, or even small kitchen upgrades run a little smoother.

I recently took over the upstairs floor of my house that I used to rent out to a tenant. That said, I now have an extra bedroom for guests to stay in…but its currently pretty bland, only containing a bed and two side tables. I went to the drawing board and started creating a plan. I want the room to be classic and elegant, pretty minimal and all together a simple makeover that I won’t want to change for a long time. That said, all these furniture items in my mood board tend to run really expensive, and I want to do this on a budget, so I am thrifting, DIYing and up cycling some items I already had to pull this off!

So far I’ve renovated my whole house and most of the exterior but one part of the home still needs a little love; the garage! So let’s tackle that in this blog post.
