Thrifted Front Hall Makeover!

Sometimes you have a space in your house that you really want to decorate but you really don’t want to spend the money on. For Daniella, that was her front hallway. But we’re here to help! We’re going to transform this pretty basic front hallway into a beautiful scandinavian dream! We headed to the thrift store to pick up some awesome pieces!

MATERIALS:

  • Shoe rack

  • Wood

TOOLS:

  • Measuring tape

  • Pencil

  • Circular saw OR hacksaw + mitre box

  • Wood glue

  • Power sander

The idea is to make two new sets of table legs out of this thinner wood, by creating two rectangular boxes out of this wood. We cut our pieces of wood at a 45 degree angle, making eight shorter pieces and eight longer pieces. We wood glued these together to make four different rectangles, and added staples at the seams to hold everything together while they dried. We attached the legs to the two rack tops using some little corner brackets!
