The ultimate lofty work space!

Today we are going to work on this under-the-mezzanine area! You guys saw in the last Loft Vibes season, we made this area an additional filming space. BUT we actually realised that we didn’t use the space as much as we thought we would, and we definitely needed more space to work and store DIY supplies. So, today we are going to transform this space to something a little more practical!

To build the new rolling work tables, we purchased three six-cube KALLAX units in the brown black colour, and three countertops in this beautiful solid wood colour. We built the KALLAX shelves as normal, except we left the middle shelves from the two ends out, to create two rectangles on each end and two squares in the centre! Once the units were built, we cut out countertops to fit the KALLAX’s length perfectly, and screwed them into place.

While Becky built those, Kelsey went ahead and painted the back wall grey! This is a great way to add interest to a room without doing much!

Time to bring in the rug, stools, and decor!
