Rental Makeover - Decadent Tropical Themed
We got asked to makeover this newly renovated bachelor suite vacation rental space for a friend, but we only had 5 days to complete it! Here is what we ended up doing in the space!
Before
This space has lots of potential but is basically empty. As you can see, there was already a kitchen stove storage unit, a couple decor items and some basics, like a fridge, lighting, and a sink. To make this suite livable for vacationers, we need to bring in a bed, a kitchen table, some storage for the kitchen, some seating and spice it up with some decor. We were also given the challenge of going along with a somewhat beachy theme.
INSPO FOR THE SPACE
In order to avoid the classic beach house decor that we see very often, we decided to go in the route of beachy decadence. We pulled lots of inspiration from these photos below while searching for decor items.
FINAL RESULTS
After 5 days in this small space, several stops at the thrift store, and rummaging around through the storage room on the property, here is what we came up with! We tried to make it feel homey and liveable while still going for the elegance of the inspiration we got. What do you think of the final results?
