Completely Making Over a Cabin Bedroom
My husband’s family owns a cottage that was newly renovated and they asked each family member to make over a room in the cottage. I was so excited to take on the challenge and spend NO money to do it!
BEFORE
During the renovation process, I asked for the room to be painted this pretty green colour pictured below so that I could lean into the outdoorsy vibe in the cottage. Otherwise, the room was just empty, but had great bones and fun architectural interest! That said, it was really small so I really had to figure out a way to make it comfortable and use the space efficiently.
After
I used some pre-existing DIY projects & decor items I had that were not in use like a checkered rug I made for a past video. On top of that, I went thrifting for a couple bits and bobs that I needed to make the place feel home-y, this is how the final room turned out! I am so happy with the results!! What do you think?
