Welcome to my updated living room tour! I recently reupholstered a secondhand chair I found online to match my style more, and thought it would be a good time to show you how my living room has evolved since I moved in a few years ago. WOVEN CANE MEDIA UNIT UPCYCLE

This media unit was super old from IKEA and I still really liked it, but wanted to make it match the room a bit better. I took some woven cane I bought off of Etsy and DIY’d some doors for the front. It totally changed the vibe of this piece and I love it even more now! To find out how I did it, click here for all the instructions.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL FURNITURE

My end tables are actually outdoor stools that I got for my recent backyard patio makeover, but I brought them inside as tables because they’re just so beautiful. I think that the light wood ties the room together really well and makes the couch feel complete.

ADDED CURTAINS

This window needed some serious TLC, so I redid it during the summer with a live edge wood insert and new curtains. To catch that DIY check out this video!
