Is it cruelty-free or nah?!
Who ever thought we’d be doing beauty stuff on this channel/blog!? We’re starting to upload more content on our channel and blog, which means we’ll be able to do more than just DIY (which is super exciting)! We’re also going to start doing some stuff separately! Let us know if you’re into this new fun and relaxed format.
Aaaalright! So i’m here today, with my makeup bag, to figure out if the makeup I use everyday is cruelty-free! I’m really nervous about this, because makeup can be expensive and I really do love the products that I use. BUT, we’re going to do the right thing today and get rid of that non-cruelty-free stuff!
Here’s all of the stuff in my makeup bag that ended up being cruelty free (linked below)!
Products: Tarte Amazonian Clay Highlighter in the shade Stunner, Marc Jacobs Light Filtering Contour Powder in 20 DREAM FILTER, Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original, Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Pallet, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Concealer, Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony
Here’s the stuff that ended up not being cruelty free (totally NOT linked, sorry guys)!
Products: Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil in Shade 3, Benefit They're Real! Mascara in Black, Benefit Ready Set Brow in Transparent, Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Medium Plus
And here are the products the lovely people at the makeup store helped me pick out to replace the non-cruelty-free stuff (linked below)!
Products: Kat Von D Lock It Powder in Light, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes in Black, Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown
I honestly expected the MAC product to be non-cruelty-free, but BENEFIT?! I’m shocked. But, now I get to try out some fun new products that are kind to our furry friends.
