DIY MINI BACKPACK: THRIFT FLIP
Our Thrift Flip series is easily becoming one of our favourites! It’s such a rewarding feeling creating something super trendy from upcycled materials. We wanted to do something purse related since our local thrift store always seems to be overflowing with options. The mini backpack trend is everywhere and so we got to thinking about a way to transform an old purse into a mini backpack! Make sure to watch the video below to see exactly how we did it (and how you can too!)
Cost: $5 – $10
Difficulty: ✂ ✂
Materials:
– Thrifted Purse
– Thrifted Belt
– Faux Fur
– Pom Pom Keychain
Tools:
– Soap and Water
– Scissors
– Needle and Thread
Two cuts and a few stitches and that’s it!
As always, if you make this DIY (or any other thrift store inspired DIY) tag us on instagram @thesorrygirlsdiy or use the hashtag #thesorrygirls, we’d love to see it!
