DIY LACE-UP FLATS
I love when inspiration hits. We were shopping for DIY’s when we (okay fine, Becky) came up with the idea that we should try to DIY the super cute lace-up flats trend that we have been seeing around everywhere. So while we were out shopping for supplies for other DIY’s, we turned around to go get materials for our new passion project.
Cost: Approx. $12
Difficulty: ✂
Materials:
– pair of suede flats
– leather cord/ ribbon
– leather/ faux leather sample (or you could use thick flat ribbon)
– the template linked below (for version 2!)
Tools:
– fabric/ leather glue
– fabric scissors
– binder clips
– ruler
– marker
Honestly this DIY probably took us 5 minutes to whip up.
